I was born and raised in San Diego, California. I was the third of four children, sandwiched between the first, the genius and the only son, so I learned early how to speak up for myself and how to work hard to get noticed. I was always creating things, sewing, knitting and writing from a very early age. I married and raised two amazing children while I earned a B.A. in biology at age 30, my ADN at age 52 and my BSN at 54. I believe that God has always led me to take care of others and I completed Parish Nurse training while working as a hospice nurse.
I have always loved the Lord and He has been faithful in His love for me. He leads me to nurture His flock and I have the wonderful opportunity to do that as your Parish Nurse at Salmon Creek UMC. Here I am Lord. Is it I Lord?
My favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 41:10 Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
