GROWING IN Christ

"But speaking the truth in love,we must grow up in every way into him who
is the head, into Christ..." (Ephesians 4:15)

As Christians, God wants us to grow to become like His Son.  He doesn’t expect us to be transformed to Christ-likeness all on our own.  His Holy Spirit is our Guide, Teacher, and Comforter on the journey to grow deeper in our relationship with Jesus Christ.

Programs and activities in this area will help you grow and mature as a disciple though studying His Word and learning to apply Christian practices in your life

The Walk to Emmaus is an ecumenical event that occurs twice a year, in the Spring and the Fall with the purpose of further developing disciples for Jesus Christ and leaders in the local church. When you attend the Walk to Emmaus, you experience 72 hours focused on  deepening your understanding of Christianity and your relationship with Jesus , this is accomplished through 15 talks given by clergy and lay people, praising God with music, the receiving of communion and fellowship with other Christians. Men attend one weekend and women 2 weeks later.

For more information about the Walk to Emmaus visit the Oregon Trails Walk to Emmaus website by clicking here.

The first study in the program is DISCIPLE: BECOMING DISCIPLES THROUGH BIBLE STUDY, a thirty-four week overview of the entire Bible
